Welcome to O'Hara Lowline Stud. |
O'Hara have been breeding Australian Lowline cattle in the Hawkesbury for several years. Our foundation herd was diigently selected from champion genetics. We pride ourselves with colossal seed stock and believe they are second to none. An extensive breeding program is currently under way at O'Hara that will augment our bloodlines well into the future.......
Our young sire, Master Gerald, is one example of O'Hara's excellent genetic choices. Gerald is the youngest Australian Lowline ever, to win Supreme Exhibit and Small Breed Interbreed at just 10 months of age, at any Royal show, with an EMA (Eye Muscle Average) of 73, it does ensure the breed is in good hands with Gerald, he has turned out a real little "Meat Machine".
His doing ability continues to dazzle with another Supreme Exhibit at Royal Canberra 5 months after winning in Melbourne, then ably following up with a Grand Champion Bull at the Royal Sydney Easter Show. Bulls of this calibre come once in a life time, there is much evidenence the right genetics will give you a gargantuan bottom line.
Master Gerald went back to Melbourne 5 months after appearing at the Sydney Royal Easter Show as a 22 month old senior. He was up against quality bulls much senior than himself to repeat his success from the previous year. Senior and Grand Champion Bull, Supreme Exhibit and Small Breed Interbreed Senior Champion Bull.
Gerald is the "complete package", It's that "raw meat in that muscle" that will get him over the line every time.
O'Hara heifers are stamping their ground with a wonderful performance at the Sydney Royal Easter show. Miss Angelica, an exceptional heifer, has great length and depth, structurally sound and excellent confirmation as well as being extremely feminine, brought out her pearls for the Sydney Royal and confidently won her first Supreme Exhibit at 12 months of age. Another example of phenomenal genetics breeding phenomenal results.
